Flavour Menu

A traditional Victoria sponge cake, a zesty lemon or a deliciously moist chocolate cake are all wonderful choices for any celebration cake and are by far our most popular flavours. But sometimes you might just like something a little different, maybe that little bit extra special for a wedding or engagement cake. Below you will find a list of our sponge cake flavours and our filling options. If there's a flavour you would like, but can't see in the menu below, please let us know and we'll do our best to recreate it for your special event.

Cake and Filling Flavours

Our recipes have been tried, tested, and perfected. We use only the very best ingredients to ensure our cakes and fillings are perfect every time.

Traditional Victoria Sponge

This is by far our most popular flavour and we can really understand why, as it's our favourite too! A deliciously soft vanilla sponge, filled with vanilla buttercream and oodles of raspberry jam.

Chocolate

Our second  most popular choice. A deliciously moist chocolate sponge, filled with a rich chocolate buttercream.

Zesty Lemon

Lemon infused sponge cake, layered with zingy lemon curd and a zesty lemon buttercream. Perfect for any celebration.

Lemon and Elderflower

A  more delicate flavour than our popular zesty lemon cake, this sponge cake is also infused with lemon and filled with lemon curd, perfectly accompanied by a layer of elderflower buttercream, in our opinion, absolutely perfect for a summer wedding.

Chocolate Orange

A lovely alternative to our chocolate cake. We use the same delicious chocolate cake recipe, but this time we team it with a delicious zesty orange buttercream. A lighter alternative to our rich chocolate buttercream.

Salted Caramel

Our salted caramel cake is becoming increasingly popular and is a regular choice for our wedding cakes. The sponge is a caramel flavour sponge and the buttercream is a perfect balance of saltiness and sweet caramel.

Coffee

Our coffee cake is made with two shots of freshly ground espresso, and filled with coffee buttercream using an extra shot of espresso.

Coconut and Lime

A light and aromatic sponge filled with coconut flakes and a delicately flavoured lime buttercream, the perfect combination.

Rainbow 

An absolute favourite with the little ones, whether you choose bold, bright colours, or a pastel alternative, this cake is sure to be a party pleaser. Each layer of sponge is sandwiched with a thin layer of vanilla buttercream.

St Clements

Our St Clements sponges are  infused with fresh orange and lemon juice, then sandwiched together with zesty orange and lemon buttercream, delightfully fresh and light, perfect for any summer celebration!

Traditional Rich Fruit Cake

Our traditional rich fruit cake is perfect for those really special celebrations. Our recipe has been handed down through our family and is wonderfully decadent. The fruit cake is soaked in brandy for at least three months before being covered with a layer of homemade almond paste, and topped off with a layer of icing. We require a minimum of four months notice for one of our fruit cakes as they require a lot of love and attention, but trust us, they're worth the wait!
